Albert Franco Obituary, Death – FRANCESCO -On August 10, 1935, Albert G. Franco was born in Brooklyn to Gabriel and Bess Franco, who had immigrated to the United States from Rhodes and Turkey, respectively. Albert G. died on May 2, 2023. After graduating from Abraham Lincoln High School, where he was a standout in mathematics (as well as handball), Albert received a full scholarship to both the Columbia School of Engineering and the Columbia Engineering graduate school.

Albert began his professional life at IBM, and then went on to start his own company, which he eventually took public. Ultimacc was a corporation that specialized in the computer automation of small to medium-sized businesses. It was originally listed on the Boston Stock Exchange but eventually moved to the Nasdaq. In 1960, Albert went on a blind date with Fanny Kligman, and the two eventually were married shortly after that.

Fanny was born and reared in Colombia, which is located in South America. She emigrated to the United States in order to pursue her education. Between the years 1972 and 2022, Albert and Fanny called the town of Tenafly, New Jersey, home. Albert fought Alzheimer’s illness and remained conscious up till the end of his life.

In addition to his devoted wife of 62 years, Fanny, Albert is survived by his daughters Laura and Stephanie Franco, sons-in-law David Kostin and Dr. Michael Scherl, grandchildren Alex and Julia Kostin, and an incredible sister, Lillian Krasner.
