BIOGRAPHY
Alejandro de Hoyos Parera began his acting career at a young age, appearing in several television advertisements for some of Mexico’s biggest brands. He also appeared in musical theater and, in 2013, received a full scholarship to study at the British American Drama Academy’s MCP in England. Upon returning, she began to become known to the Mexican audience thanks to her performances in soap operas such as La Rosa de Guadalupe (2010-2017), Como Dice el Dicho (2011-2017), La Doble Vida de Estela Carrillo (2017) and Caer In Temptation (2017-2018). On the big screen, he was praised for his portrayal of Alberto Martínez, a young seminarian sexually abused by a priest, in Luis Urquiza’s Perfect Obedience (2014). Since 2019, he plays the role of Rodrigo Ross Carranza in the Netflix original series Monarca , produced by Salma Hayek and starring Irene Azuela, Osvaldo Benavides, among others.
