Caterers on set of Denzel Washington’s movie ‘The Equalizer 3’ arrested in cocaine bust

The movie set of ‘The Equalizer 3’ with Denzel Washington was rocked by a cocaine bust. Italian police arrested two caterers working on the set following the seizure of a significant amount of cocaine after a man’s death.

According to reports, Italian paramilitary police conducted a raid at a hotel on the Amalfi coast, where they confiscated 120 grams of cocaine while Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning were filming. The raid was initiated after the sudden death of the movie production’s head of catering, who passed away from a heart attack. Upon discovering bags of cocaine in the deceased man’s pockets, the police suspected more drugs might be present on the movie set.

As a result of the investigation, some catering workers were placed under house arrest on suspicion of drug dealing, after cocaine was found in their hotel room. Meanwhile, another caterer was found in possession of a small amount of cocaine for personal use.

The police also conducted a search for drugs at a local port, which is believed to be the primary staging area for the movie directed by Antoine Fuqua, but no cocaine was found during the sweep.
