Charissa Thompson is probably the hottest radio woman on sports TV. She’s been one of Fox Sports 1’s most famous faces since its launch in August 2013 and continues to enjoy the best of her career. She hosts FOX NFL KickOFF and Sunday morning football shows
Surprisingly, Thompson’s career started in 2016 as an assistant in the human department of Fox Sports. Records indicate she moved to Los Angeles after graduating from the University of Santa Barbara in California to work in the human resources department of Fox Sports. During this time, she learned how to cut and organize game clips and record videotapes in the network’s highlights department. Thompson would later apply for a production assistant position at Fox Sports Net Rocky Mountain. She got the job and it was in 2007.
Shortly after, she got her first broadcast opportunity to replace the Colorado Rockies’ host on Saturday night with Fox. His performance was outstanding and eventually inspired Fox decision makers to approach him for the role he held on the network’s national program – Best Cum Period sports show. Thompson served in that capacity for two years and also worked as a sideline reporter for Big Ten Network and Fox NFL.

If Thompson is forced to take some time off, you’re likely to find her practicing water sports. She enjoys interior design, yoga, running, boating and water sports in her free time.
Charissa Thompson was born and raised in Seattle, Washington in May 1982. She will celebrate her 36th birthday on the 4th day of 2018. She attended Inglemoor High School in Kenmore, WA. After graduating from high school, she went to Washington State University before moving to California, then to the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she eventually earned a bachelor’s degree in law and society. It was in 2004.
From what we gathered, Charissa has always been a fan of sports and always wanted to pursue a career in the media when she was still young. In high school, she wrote once in volleyball, twice on track, and three times in basketball. Before Thompson found her niche in the media industry, she held a handful of part-time positions. She revealed that she worked as an operator of her own coffee stand in Los Angeles, as a barista at Starbucks, as a waitress at the Cheesecake Factory, as a sales clerk at Nordstrom and even as a nanny.
Thompson left Fox Sports in 2010 and worked as a host for Yahoo Sports and Versus. Her accomplishments brought her to the attention of ESPN in 2011. She first hosted Numbers Never Lie on sports television before taking charge of the popular outlet show SportsNation. Nonetheless, Charissa Thompson returned to Fox when Fox Sports 1 launched in May 2013.

It is known that Charissa Thompson once dated former basketball player, Jay Williams. Thompson and Williams fell in love in 2013 while she was working for ESPN. The relationship fell apart in 2015 and Charissa explained that her job was what destroyed what she had with Williams.
During this time, it was generally assumed that Charissa had previously been married. We attributed this belief to a sarcastic comment she made during an interview in 2014. She spoke about an ex-husband saying:
“It was the best and the worst decision I have ever made. I quickly realized that I didn’t need to get married anymore, but there are people who come into your life for a reason. I love my ex-husband and it took us a long time to become friends again.
In 2015, she also confused her fans when she opened up about her “first marriage” during an interview with Huffington Post. He was asked to advise teenage girls who want to get involved in sports media. Speaking, she says:
“…My first marriage failed because I was doing this job and I was never home…”
