The lawsuit filed by Juan Lomeli against rapper French Montana for a dog bite incident has resulted in a victory for the plaintiff.
According to TMZ, a California jury concluded that French’s German Shepherd, Zane, was responsible for the aggressive attack on Lomeli, who initially sued French Montana in 2018.
At the time of the incident, Lomeli claimed that French’s pet attacked and bit him while he was carrying out his responsibilities, resulting in a serious and painful injury.
Represented by Brad Wallace, Lomeli argued that the injuries were severe enough to cause him to miss a significant amount of work, leading to financial losses.
As a result of the case, Lomeli has been awarded $129,500 in damages, comprising $39,500 for past economic loss, $60,000 for non-economic loss (such as pain and suffering), and an additional $30,000 for future non-economic loss.
