Jacob Ayres Obituary, Death – Jacob Ayres, a resilient soul, breathed his last on October 20, 2023, succumbing to the relentless grip of testicular cancer at the age of 44. Born in Dallas, Texas on April 26, 1979, to Loyd and Sandra Ayres, Jacob’s indomitable spirit shone brightly throughout his life. He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength.
Survived by his devoted wife of 23 years, Sarah Ayres, and a large, loving family, Jacob’s memory will be cherished by his children—Savannah, Jaden, Abigail, Madison, Makenzy, Weston, Akeema, Qyenice, and Brian. His grandchildren, Skarlette Wrathell and Ivy Ayres, will forever hold a special place in their hearts for their grandfather.
Tragically, Jacob was preceded in death by his brothers Asa and Jason Ayres, uncles David O’Riley and Mickey O’Riley, and his grandparents. The void left by his departure is palpable, yet his impact on those who knew him is enduring. Friends and well-wishers are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, October 26th, from 4-8 PM at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors – Capstick Chapel. The funeral service, officiated by Pastor Thomas Wellington and Pastor Loyd Ayres, will take place on Friday, October 27th, at 11 AM. Jacob’s final resting place will be at Stiles Cemetery in Mayfield Township, followed by a luncheon where fond memories will be shared.
