BIOGRAPHY
Known for his short participation in the Game of Thrones phenomenon , Joel Fry is a British actor who has gained some popularity due to the large productions where he has been. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and, in addition to being an actor, has a band called Animal Circus, which released their first album in 2012. As an actor, Joel began his career in 2006 with the television crime series, The Bill (1984-2010) and at the same time he was present in Massive (2008), No Signal (2009-), as well as the film 10,000 AC (2008). Shortly after he joined the cast of Tamara Drewe (2010) which won the Palm Dog at Cannes 2010 for the Boss dog who appears in the film. Other series in which he has participated are Public Enemies (2012), a police miniseries, and the comedy White Van Man (2011-2012), however, shortly after he was cast to play Hizdahr zo Loraq during seasons 4 and 5 from Game of Thrones (2011-2019). He had brief appearances in the historical comedy series Drunk History in the English version and also in Paddington 2 (2017). He was recently in Danny Boyle’s film, Yesterday (2019) and his upcoming projects are the horror film Cordelia (2019), the comedy Love. Wedding. Repeat (2020) and Disney’s live action, Cruella (2021).
