Ambitious Nollywood producer and actor Seyi Bonimo has exposed his senior colleague, Rasak Olayiwola popularly called Ojopagogo and his wife Moji Afolayan for supposedly tricking him.
In a circulating video, Seyi Bonimo alleged that the couple had a pact with him to film a movie together.
The young talent revealed how they prolonged the discussion about rescheduling the date for a suitable time for the said movie.
He also mentioned that an additional thirty thousand naira was sent to Ojopagogo to assist with his transportation after he complained about the increase in fuel price.
Seyi Bonimo noted that Ojopagogo later telephoned to assert that he is on the set of Anikulapo despite their prior agreement for a different movie. He disclosed that they had to choose another prominent Nollywood actor who filled the void and unexpectedly demanded money from him.
Seyi Bonimo alleged that Moji Afolayan refunded a portion of the money, leaving ten thousand naira which she claimed she wouldn’t give back.
The aggrieved producer also revealed that he had contacted authorities in the movie industry regarding the matter, but none were able to compel them to reimburse the money.
As a result of Seyi Bonimo’s complaints, Nollywood actors flooded his comment section to acknowledge how similar issues have been adversely affecting the movie industry, and no one has the courage to stand up for the truth.
