Recap of Fate/Strange Fake Season 1 Episode 1
“Following the conclusion of the Fifth Holy Grail War, the Mage Association learns of a group of rogue Mages led by the renegade sorcerer Faldeus. This faction aims to organize a counterfeit Holy Grail War within the American city of Snowfield. As deliberations take place, Lord El-Melloi II ponders the appropriate response.
Meanwhile, Flat Escardos, one of his students, defies his orders and heads to Snowfield to participate in the War, driven by curiosity to witness the Holy Grail firsthand.
In Snowfield, Flat Escardos successfully summons Jack the Ripper, a Servant of the Berserker class. Additionally, Gilgamesh is summoned and forms an alliance with Tiné Chelc, a young Native American girl who becomes his Master in her quest to reclaim her tribe’s land from the Mages.
The Mage who initially summoned Tiné is assassinated, only to return to life with a newfound desire to challenge her beliefs. Simultaneously, a comatose girl named Tsubaki establishes a connection with a spectral-like Servant. The chief of Snowfield’s police force enlists Caster’s help to replicate Noble Phantasms for his elite unit, Clan Calatin. Furthermore, Enkidu, a Servant, can be summoned by a Mage’s pet dog.
Gilgamesh and Enkidu recognize each other’s presence instinctively, leading to a conflict. They agree to eliminate the other contenders before resuming their battle, impressing the participants of the imitation Grail War with their extraordinary power.
Amidst these events, another Mage seeks to end the fraudulent Grail War, which poses a grave threat. They place their hope in an enigmatic “Intruder.” A weapon-wielding Servant encounters a young girl in Snowfield, asking if she is his Master.
