The game of volleyball does not carry the same fame, appeal or benefits as basketball or football. However, players like Taylor Agost have certainly changed many people’s heads with his tantalizing performances on the court and on the beach.
This blonde always knew what she wanted to do and that’s play volleyball at the highest level. As a result, she pushed herself relentlessly. She shapes her glorious career in high school and college to play the game professionally; she is exactly where she deserves to be. The 6ft2in started her professional career with Bundesliga side Ladies in Black Aachen.
Taylor Agost Bio
Agost was born in Happy Valley, Clackamas County, Oregon on May 31, 1996. Taylor Agost didn’t travel much and loved growing up in his hometown. It was there that she received her primary and secondary education, although nothing is known of the first.
She did her high school education at Clackamas High School. It was during her time there that she fell in love with volleyball and became involved in the sport. His high school career was very impressive. At the time of her departure, she had been named a senior volleyball ace and was ranked No. 17 on the list. She was also part of a winning team in the Trois-Rivières league championship in her junior and senior years. For the 6A OSAA tournament, his team also advanced to third and fourth place in his junior season and his senior season.
After high school and still refusing to leave her home country, Taylor Agost was admitted to the University of Oregon in 2014. She joined the Ducks women’s volleyball team in her freshman year.
His freshman season started well and saw Agost make 17 appearances. However, she only started 4 times as her season was hampered by injuries. His second season was much better. She played 20 games and made 12 starts. By the end of the season, she had averaged 2.69 kills per set, thus ranking third for the team.
Taylor would go on to earn honorable mentions from AVCA All-Region and All-Pac-12 after appearing in 110 of a possible 117 sets. Her junior season saw her ranked 2nd on the Ducks team and finished 8th in the Pac-12 with a .327 impact percentage. Taylor Agost left her college career on a high in 2017, thanks to her terrific senior season. She was again selected as an honorable mention All-Pac-12 and AVCA All-American. She also made the PrepVolleyball Second-team All-American.
His performances in college had caught the interest of many national and international teams. So in June 2018, the Ladies in Black Aachen came calling. She signed her first professional contract with Bundesliga side PTSV Aachen. She is already an integral part of the team. In the 2018/2019 season, Taylor Agost contributed to his team’s efforts by advancing to the semi-finals of the DVV Cup and the playoffs. They were also part of the Challenge Cup.
The athlete loves posting his life experiences and travels on social media for all his fans to see. Her social media of choice is Instagram, although she also maintains a presence on Twitter and Facebook.
His family life
Taylor’s parents are Brett Agost and Dalene Agost. We do not yet know what they do for a living. Taylor’s family is truly united. She often posts photos of her parents and siblings on her social media.
Her family is very supportive of the path she has chosen. During an interview in Germany, Taylor explained that her family members were willing to stay up to watch her play a game as early as 3 a.m.
Whenever she is on vacation, the athlete likes to have adventures with her family, an experience she never forgets to document on her Instagram account.
